With comments like that, I prefer him a journalist. It's more important that free speech be exercised. The fact that we can hear him says that not everything this country stands for has been quashed.

you can't deny that Olbermann's got more brains, patriotism and chutzpah in his pinkie finger than you'd find in the entirety of Bush's West Wing, though.

I think the worst part is how apathetic everyone seems to be about it. Nobody at work has said anything at all, although that's probably because I'm the only one there who gives a damn about politics.

That's silly. It's been well known for quite a long time now that the current system is in place to make sure that those who could actually lead a nation worth anything would never be allowed to do so, even if they actually wanted to (which most of them do not).

...but on another note, thanks for linking this vid.

Ah yes, the Beeblebrox paradox: Anyone who is capable of getting themselves made President should on no account be allowed to do the job.
