shoulder angel shoulder devil

feeling no pain...

I've been sipping on some Sailor Jerry cocktails (ok, fine, glorified rum and cokes) since about 10 pm and getting caught up on all of the Tiki Bar TV podcast episodes in Front Row. It's been a pretty craptastical week work-wise, and I just needed to unwind, and this was just what I needed.

For those of you who've never seen Tiki Bar TV, it features Dr. Tiki, his bartender sidekick Johnny Johnny, and his foxy assistant Lala, who, as Officer Don on "3rd Rock" once so succinctly put it, is "a little crazy...but she's got legs up to her face!" Each episode features a different drink, and I'm firmly convinced that each cocktail they knock back while filming is the real deal...they must have indestrucible livers, and God how I'd love to be on that show. I'm off to join the Tiki Bar TV forums now, and if anyone checks the account creation time, they'll be sure to realize that only those who have been drinking will be joining up at 2 am.

Right...I'm off the garage to saw a plank of wood in half!

*baboon punching noises*

Oh wait, no. I'm off to the gym.

warning...this post will be of interest only to geeks

I've decided that I'm really kinda sick of archiving all the email from my ISP and Hotmail on my computer (I've got it going back YEARS!) so what I've done for Hotmail and what I'm doing for my ISP email is I'm setting up both to forward to my primary Gmail account, where's they'll have labels applied and be archived there for a long time (hopefully forever, barring any catastrophic systems failures at the Googleplex)

This means, however, that I need to upload years worth of back emails to my Gmail account...which is going to take a while considering I've got more than 10,000 saved emails (I'm a packrat, what can I say?) But slowly and surely they're uploading!

Whee!
