back from an evening of theatre and picking up after ourselves

I went with a couple people that I worked with on that show I did, "Fallen Angels," to see a new, small theatre company, Ilium Theatreworks, do "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?" in a very intimate theatre space. Good times, great show. Awesome cast.

Now this is one of my favorite plays (theatre geeks may find this says something about me) and seeing it again cemented two things for me.
1. I really wanna play George someday, and
2. I really wanna do theatre that isn't just "tra la la, merrily we skip about and sing and engage in wacky hi-jinks." I want to do theatre that challenges me and the audience. But mostly, i really wanna do theatre again.

I LUV THEATRE! NOM NOM NOM NOM NOM! MOAR!

And now, since I haven't had any caffeine yet today, and it's making me headache-y, I'm going to chug a Coke Zero.

First Bernie Mac, then Isaac Hayes...who's next in the trifecta? My money's on the bartender from "The Love Boat."
