So this is fun...as things stand right now, it looks as though after we fly in to Florida on Monday, Tuesday and part of Wednesday might be spent riding out a tropical storm/category 1 hurricane.

Right now it's still way to early to tell exactly where this thing is gonna go, but models right now suggest it may skirt the Gulf coast of FL, so Orlando may not be hit too hard.

Here's hoping.

I'm hoping it will hit us! XD We haven't had a good storm in years!!!

Yeah, but I haven't been to Disney in years! I'm ok with it raining, just so long as the parks don't close and the busses still run.

Disney isn't going to close unless it's a hurricane, and even that's iffy. I remember when Charley (which was a category 2 or 3) came through, it hit aruond 4 or 5, and they kept us open until 1ish.

.........Which, by the way, is horrible when you're stuck at work.

I'd settle for a tropical storm.

Works for me! I love storms, and if there's lightning? well, I'll just avoid the stuff that goes 101 when there's lightning nearby...so that'd be, what...Expedition Everest, Kilimanjaro Safaris, Kali River Rapids, Splash Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain, Test Track, Backlot Tour, and maybe Tower of Terror?

We'll just come back to those. :)

Hey, I make an effort to get down to the parks if a big storm is coming. All the guests take cover from the early rains, and nothing is really down yet, so as a guest it's really nice, as long as you don't mind the rain. :)
