Well, not really, but it's frustrating. A few months back, the National Eagle Scout Association sent out flyers stating they're working with Harris Connect to put together an Eagle Scout Alumni directory, with proceeds going to their scholarship fund. I decide to go along with it, as it might help me get in touch with some old friends. I also pay extra for all the data on CD, so it's searchable.

Yeah. Not a single person from my troops are in there. And the CD? Despite assurances on the packaging that it works on a Mac, it doesn't. .EXE files don't work on an Apple machine, and neither Harris Connect nor the software developers have any helpful info on their websites. Yeah. That's at least $100 down the tube.

I hope the Marquette University High School directory turns out to be better, cuz I've already paid for that, too.
