I'm out of regular rum, so I took the suggestion I saved from Chicagoist's blog, and used my Wray and Nephew Overproof White Rum, which is 126-proof. I more than doubled the rest of the components, grenadine (homemade, natch), lemon juice, lime juice, sugar, and bitters (I added Orange bitters, though the recipe didn't call for any, and also a little allspice liqueur, and cut it with a little water, but it's still very very rummy. Me like.
By 2009, I hope to temporarily not be able to feel my feet.
