The Chicago Trib has an article which basically points out that food corporations like Kraft, Nestle, Unilever and Kellogg's gambled and made really dumb decisions on futures prices, and now consumers have to pay higher prices for foods despite dramatic drops in commodities prices in the last 12 months. As a result, more consumers are fleeing to store brands and *shudder* Wal-Mart.

Why are the stockholders of those companies not dragging the (bad) decision-makers from burning buildings and lynching them yet? Is there no end to the stupidity and malfeasance that corporate executives can get away with and not be held accountable?
