"Bread...beautiful!" "You're pushing your luck, little man."

Yesterday and today I've been trying this new technique for making bread, where you mix up the dough one day, then stash it in the fridge and carve hunks off and bake it over the next few days, up to two weeks. We got it from this nifty book, Artisan Bread in Five Minutes a Day: The Discovery That Revolutionizes Home Baking.

So I figured I'd post a couple pictures. The bread invariably turns out kinda mal-formed, as we're letting it freeform like a boule-style loaf, but it tastes delicious, and the texture is really nice.
