Lime zest, ginger, allspice, nutmeg, cloves, a few peppercorns and almonds soaked in overproof rum and mixed with simple syrup...it's a must for tiki drinks. I've got everything macerating in overproof rum for the next 24 hours, and then tomorrow I make simple syrup, strain the solids out, keep the sweet, sweet boozy goodness, and add almond extract. I am so looking forward to this it's really sort of pathetic.
