I love technology.

After nearly 4 years of waiting for it to no longer be an AT&T exclusive, I'm finally getting an iPhone, on Verizon. So is mom (we've got a family plan, she's a postal worker, gets a nice discount, more than I'd get as an Apple employee, actually). It'll be mom's first smartphone, and my second; currently I've got a Droid Eris, which I call the world's dumbest smartphone. Seriously, the thing's poky!

Right now they're slated to arrive early, on Monday, but technically they could get held until the actual release day. Guess we'll find out.

Until then, I'm filled with techno-joy. And looking forward to using all the apps I've bought with the expectations that someday I'd get an iPhone and be able to use them in all their full featured glory!
